And it wasn't so much this year, because at the end of it all, when it was all said and done, the Canadians pulled away from the wildcard group and comfortably made the playoffs.
But there were points where they were below the playoff line, and it was by quite a bit.
And what I just want to see is...
to put concretely what you said into the schedule, I don't want to see a necessity for a nine-game winning streak to have to make the playoffs.
Because those are nice.
They're exciting.
They're electric.
But, man, if you're going to want to be a consistent playoff team, you can't be losing six games in a row and then having to make up for it with a nine-game winning streak because that's not going to happen all the time.
Well, as it stands right now, Lane Hudson's contract has, I think, his new contract kicks in this year, right?
