I thought it was worth looking into because when you hear 27 Club, you think it's got to be confirmation bias.
It's got to be people looking for more deaths at 27 and then searching till they find them.
And plenty died at 26, 28.
But actually, if you just search the internet, a ridiculous number, I would say disproportionate number, did die at age 27.
But that's not to say that more of them are dying at that age.
It's just that the 27 myth has been around for so long that people have researched who's died at 27 and then publicized that.
And so they're overrepresented here.

In fact, one of your more or less listeners, Matthew Page, found 350 different deaths of musicians on the internet, and 27 was over four times the average.
Well, that's quite a spike.
It's a huge spike in that regard.
Yeah, exactly.
And people make a huge fuss when they're 27 because it matches the 27 Club.
So I found someone had actually done some proper research into do musicians die more often than normal people as such.
