And we won our case in the end of the day.
I think going on strike is the wrong way to do it because you're withdrawing that service from the vulnerable people who might need it.
Well, Maeve quoted that as, I think, 47% of the ambulance services operate.
46%.
What about the rest?
Is that 46% enough to cover the...
The injuries and the accidents that will take place, who knows?
Who is going to go and explain this in the coroner's court if something goes wrong?
I've been in the coroner's court three times in my working career.
Two of them was in a marine capacity.
One was in an accident and emergency capacity.
Coroner's court is not a nice place to be.
And if your strike organisers are willing to go down that road for a play, but I think taking...
industrial action that withdraws a service from a vulnerable community.
Not only are they doing the accident and emergency, what about the patient transport?
What about the lady up on the side of a mountain who has a broken hip and has to go to physiotherapy twice a month?
Now she's fixed.
What about ordinary people who are vulnerable and who are frightened and scared that they won't have the health and care service system that they need if they need it because people have gone on strike, they have withdrawn that service?
I would disagree there to an extent.
If you want your protest or your strike action to be disruptive and make a point, then don't disrupt the vulnerable service user.
