So here in the UK and also in the Netherlands, it's a relatively small place with relatively dense population.

And even if you are on a relatively large farm for the UK, your neighbours are never very far away, more than a mile or two possibly.

And I think mostly far closer than that.

You go to the plains, the prairies of Canada.

Really, really big.

I spent an entire day driving through New Brunswick and all I saw was trees for an entire day.

Just pine forests for a whole day.

Eight or nine hours of driving through New Brunswick and that was all I saw.

So, yeah, you get out to the prairies there and I can absolutely imagine that unless you make a real effort...

You could go days, weeks, months and not see anybody at all, which just makes the whole thing, just the remoteness of that makes it potentially far, far worse even than in the UK.

I think mental health, there is still a degree of taboo attached to it that there really, really shouldn't be.

And it's a problem for more people.

I would go so far as to say that on a sliding scale, it is a problem for everybody.

who amongst us doesn't have and even if you're lucky enough not to be you're going to be living with somebody or know somebody or be working with somebody who does so you'll be mental health issue adjacent even if you sail through childhood and don't have any problems yourself
