We began the week at Lower Loxley with Fallon and Lizzie in the crotch barn.
Astonishingly, this building project is the first one in the history of ever to have started and finished sooner than the builders said.
That is the most Elizabeth thing I've ever heard.
Lizzie is trying to seduce Fallon away from the bull to be a program manager.
So not a chef then, the thing she can do and has been doing seemingly without complaint for the last five years or so.
Righto.
Harrisman kept telling people how completely fine he was while being horrible to Fallon.
He is displaying many of the signs of a man having a stonking affair and trying to convince himself that he isn't, flip-flopping between guilt, anger and a pretense that everything's fine.
He has won an Outstanding Achievement Award and Fallon had to go and clap and listen to a bunch of people she didn't know calling her husband Harris McHarrisman or something and making ribald references to the woman that fancies him.
Rex and Alice were clearly listening to me last week, as they're now going on holiday together.
They are going to Gozo, or Going Gonzo, maybe.
I think they may be through the honeymoon period, as on World Cup night she had a bath, got straight into her pyjamas and declined to go and sit in strange silence with Fallon and Harrisment, while watching Argentina play like a gang of hooligans suspended from a correctional facility.
As further proof they are going gonzo, they are moving in together.
Thankfully not into the boat, as I can imagine a four-year-old on a narrow boat would take decades off a parent's life, but into the nesticle, or whatever Alice's house is called.
Bert was perched on his little stool like a budgie in the shop while Susan bustled about him, but they discovered a shared love of gossip which seemed to bond them quite nicely.
Once they'd exhausted local news, Susan tried to mine Bert for information about Clive and everyone's ears pricked up when he mentioned Clive taking his bank card to get his pension money out.
Mineless a bit for groceries and paddy power, I suspect.
