I played for so many different coaches in junior, and at the time, I think it was perceived as a negative.
Now with my career path, I think it was fantastic that I was able to see so many different styles and hear so many different voices.
I would say that I'm a bit of a byproduct of everybody that I played for.
And of course, in junior hockey, he had already gotten on the
career coaching path at 15, remember?
So I think that's outstanding, Jeff, that here was a guy who knew he wanted, knew he wasn't going to be an NHL goalie, knew he wanted to be a hockey coach, and at age 15 set out on that path so that he's able to go through his junior career with that front of mind as he's sitting there listening to all these different coaches that he played for across football.
