On the scouting scale of 20 to 80, it is widely thought to be an 80-grade arm for a guy out there who once threw 98 as a pitcher.
He threw as hard as 98 early in his college time at Stanford.
So it is a real legit five-tool dude with a beautiful fluid stroke.
who is ready, and here he is.
It's incredibly exciting.
Yeah.
It absolutely seems to be a tremendous, tremendous young man.
And Stoney spoke to that as well in our in our last hour.
But I want to focus on the idea of the trade and really trades in general, because the forced efficiency that you have to have if you are the Brewers.
or the Tampa Rays, or the Cleveland Guardians, or let's face it, the Chicago White Sox.
You have to make deals when guys are about to get paid and make the most of those deals.
And we could go through Tampa, we could go through Cleveland and find incredible trades.
But let's think about the Brewers right now, okay?
Because there are three deals that I've thought about in terms of those Brewers.
Like, they got Christian Jelic from the Marlins for four prospects in 2018.
Louis Brinson was the biggest name among those prospects, okay?
They got Freddy Peralta as one of three prospects from Seattle for Adam Liend in 2015, you know?
Yeah.
They got William Contreras from the Braves as part of a trade for Estiari Ruiz, who's a fast outfielder.
None of those players that we're talking about are big leaguers of consequence.
