You have to exist in that world.
And what I found is the people that have that had the longest, you know, careers are the ones that just learn to carry that better.
They exist even though, in addition to the fact that they have all this fear.
So over years of these conversations, and a lot of them born out of the vulnerability that we all felt in COVID.
I found that the conversations that I was having in private on the streets at networking events in dark corners of clubs, right?
When I'm having these conversations outside of the public eye, people were opening up about all of this stuff in their business.
And it really kind of broke the illusion of the creator world for me because I realized there's so much smoke.
There's so much lipstick that people put on the pig of creativity in trying to make it look good, in trying to make themselves look better and get vanity numbers instead of just being who they are, right?
And again, we come to that overperformance.
So when I look at who I've had on Generator, in the first many episodes were some of the best photographers in the world.

I wanted to bring them on specifically was because they have the same issues that someone that just picked up a brand new camera two weeks ago has.
There's no difference in it.
We all feel this all the same way.
But there are techniques and skills and experience that you can get along the way that kind of diminish that.
But it was interesting to find that that's kind of a common thread if you look through the 70, 80 episodes there, that that's a common thread that weaves through almost all of them is that there's this.
feeling like there's not good enough and they're they're plenty good.
They're plenty good.
They think that business is going to betray their creativity.
They think that going into business is going to remove the one thing that they love doing.
