It yeah, it was far different and and it's far more emotional I think than you realize when you're when you're walking into when you're walking out, but um he he through his answers gave some some really, really terrific insight into what he's thinking and how he's feeling.
So with the Chris Johnson part of it, I mean, I asked him, do you feel like your NFL career had something to do with this?
And he's he had essentially said I you know, a lot of my doctors feel like it it's likely that it was part of it.
Uh there was a study that came out this year out of out of Mass General that said players who have played even one game in the NFL from nineteen sixty to twenty nineteen all were studied and it you know, cause of death a lot, four times more likely to have ALS than than their peers.
Right, three point eight eight times more likely to have dementia.
Um
That's a hard number to ignore, but it's very hard to prove.
Like, oh, d do you have this because of football or do you have this because you're unlucky?
Right.
I mean, that is the the reality of this.
And as far as CT, I wrote a piece uh that went up on Friday.
I talked to ten former players and I talked to Rocky Blyer.
I talked to Kenny Anderson, John Hannah, Randy Cross, Dan Hampton, Mark Jackson, Mark Collins, me on down the line.
Talk to ten of them.
And I got a lot of different answers all across the spectrum about CT and how they feel about it and what should be done for former players and the union and their role and all this.
Here's the one thing that I got that was consistent through all of 'em.
