Teams that go to New Zealand and perform really well
in the year before a World Cup tend to have good World Cups now.
Ireland has always broke that theory down.
They didn't do it.
France did it.
England did it back in 2003.
Australia did it in 91 and 98, sorry, in 90 before 91 and in 98 before 99.
So the South Africans did it before their World Cup wins.
Teams that go to New Zealand and perform really well, in other words, win a game,
tend to win or have a good chance of winning or getting to the final, the next World Cup.
New Zealand teams that have generational change tend to do well coming into the World Cup as well.
I think Roy Gard and Love are his 9 and 10 combination going forward.
