Which is funny, because people talk about the katabatic wind theory with Dyatlov, and it's like, that... What drives me nuts about Dyatlov, every time I see discourse on it, is the people... Yeah, like, I think a lot of people are under the impression that, like, oh, the avalanche hit them, and they were injured, but they managed to stagger their way down. It's like, no. And this is, again, why I encourage everybody who asks questions about it to watch the series. They left that tent in an orderly fashion. Some of them tried to go back up to it.

No. And that's what's so weird about it. It's like two of them definitely just froze to death. Yeah. That was both the Yuri's, I think.

They both froze to death. Based on the injuries, they were probably the ones who climbed up the tree. They probably climbed up the tree to try and get bearings on where they were. And that played into my theory that they intended to go down to their supply cache, which would have been south. They ended up going north.

But it would have, that's where the winds come in. It's like if there were katabatic winds, that could have caused confusion. Yeah. So what I think happened with the Dyatlov group is that they, so first of all, a piece that often gets left out of the story, they didn't just go up onto the mountainside and say, we're going to stay here.

it took them longer than they expected to get packed up that morning. They had to make a supply cache further down the mountain. And then they were supposed to be another like kilometer or two from where they were by the time they made camp. So they basically, this is, this is where the, the big question is, is why did they make camp right there?
