I'll give you a great Jimmy Buffett story. So I've met him a couple of different times. The first time I met him, so when Jimmy was alive, he used to do a show for SiriusXM called The Bing and Bong Show. He has Margarita Radio, which is still on SiriusXM. And so The Bing and Bong Show was him and his musical director, Michael Utley.

And like, I don't know, 10 minutes before the show, they would either answer viewer questions or they would interview somebody or somebody would interview them. They played these characters, Bing and Bong. Right. And so, um, their tour manager of 25 years, guy named Hakey Larson, his production manager, dear friend of mine.

And so, um, Hakey, I was going to a show and he, Hakey texts me and he goes, do you want to be on the Bing and Bong show? Jimmy would love, you know, he knows you're a big fan. I'm like, Oh my God. Yeah. So I'm thinking I get to meet, I'll do it because I get to meet Jimmy. Of course. Okay, fine. So I do the Bing and Bong show. Um, and that's like in, in the summer in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

And so, um, Hakey, I was going to a show and he, Hakey texts me and he goes, do you want to be on the Bing and Bong show? Jimmy would love, you know, he knows you're a big fan. I'm like, Oh my God. Yeah. So I'm thinking I get to meet, I'll do it because I get to meet Jimmy. Of course. Okay, fine. So I do the Bing and Bong show. Um, and that's like in, in the summer in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

maybe uh maybe eight months later he plays a new year's eve show uh at the barclay center in brooklyn new york and i i somehow managed to get front row tickets oh wow and i am it's new year's eve and it's my wife and i and another couple that we're friends with and we the tickets were a surprise we get there we're like front row center i am you know i'm i'm hammered and i'm just you know i'm going crazy and i'm like you know i'm i'm i'm i'm

Okay. A year after that, my wife and I and my kids go to the Margaritaville Resort in Florida on vacation. There's one in Hollywood, Florida, which is basically Fort Lauderdale. It's beautiful.

Again, I've already met him, but whatever. My point is that he never does. He never acknowledges me. He never looks my way at all. It's fine. Everyone's going crazy. He's playing to 20,000 people. Okay. A year after that, my wife and I and my kids go to the Margaritaville Resort in Florida on vacation. There's one in Hollywood, Florida, which is basically Fort Lauderdale. It's beautiful.
