Well, I was on my day off, I was at home, so I didn't reply for a couple of hours to the gaffer, but I got a message and then I spoke to him and obviously he said he wanted us to come in.

Then I told my family and they were really happy and so was I.

I knew this was going to happen as soon as I brought it up pre-show.

No, I thoroughly enjoyed absolutely everything about that game last night, but I just think the facts are true.

The defending wasn't exceptional.

I think that's fine to point that out.

Yeah, they're not mutually exclusive, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the game and it is absolutely one of the greatest games we've ever seen.

off the charts second half was a bit more yeah yeah so the last 20 minutes kind of tailed off a little bit I was surprised I couldn't believe it when it went 5-2 that Bayern actually found some sort of I only saw a trend in one way I saw this going 7-8-9 you know and that through no fault of Bayern really I just felt as though the momentum and I know whatever about momentum but it just seemed as though that's the way the game was going and that Bayern would really have to dig it out and by God they did the goal Luis Diaz's goal the ball over the top from Harry Kane yeah

We could go through every goal and we could probably save for half an hour and it'd be very enjoyable.

Yeah, it's one of them, isn't it?

I just didn't.

And whether that had any impact on his performance, I don't know.
