Do you have a view of what a sort of software company will look like in the future, about, you know, sort of how many developers or what kind of developers?
You talked a lot about and how this might work in the, you know, in the application layer.
But as you're building software, do you do you have a perspective of what the sort of a tech a so an application business of the future might look like versus one that might
Be commercially a SaaS company in people's heads today.
I mean, we're in the initial stages, if I can be honest with you, but we found enormous potential from developer productivity, as you say.
So, you know, it can be sixty or seventy or eighty percent more productive or requ you know, the resources required to deliver a certain set of products.
It's also frankly made us think pretty hard around
you know, it's been a trend over the years around, you know, offshoring and using obviously lower labour centers to produce, you know, basic levels of products and so on.
That becomes a very different proposition, frankly, and we're rapidly changing how we think about that.
For example, so massive advocates of how do we deploy this in a you know in the application layers that sit sit in a bunch of our companies.
It's like a it's like a sketch on a page, right?
I I got I could create the full artwork, but actually if I can just do the sketch I can make a very quick decision on whether I want to follow through and and go to all that trouble.
Do you come up against the um, you know, sort of regulatory side, data data access?
Um, you know, some of these sort of themes are, I guess, probably slightly more prevalent in Europe, has certainly talked about a lot between kind of Europe and the US.
Cause, you know, you can experiment, but to actually get deployment, to get real adoption, to get scale.
Does that raise its head as a something that you have to think about or work on or is part of your part of your investment process?
this context of innovation, I think also trying to manage how do I think about ROI in an uncertain environment, as you say, is it's very it's not like you can sort of say, Well, I'm gonna launch our product, it'll make that amount of revenue.
And this like there's a degree to which it's just there's an uncertain circumstance you have to you have to be more comfortable with, I guess, at the time like this, even if you're in a in a very established business.
And would that be a prototype for a specific uh application in an end industry?
So that would might be uh you know, as here's a product that would start to help me think about uh you know, the example we gave around tariff calculations, you know, that is that the kind of level you're thinking about?
