And we're in the last year of a five-year fix at 1.68%.

During this fixed period, we've been squirrelling money away, £24,000, with the aim of getting our loan to value below 60% ahead of our next mortgage fix application.
Our question is, when's best to lump our savings into the mortgage to overpay?

We're wary of a rule that we can only overpay 10% of the remaining value to and don't want to incur charges.
