I tried to use the Equifax app, but it requires you to sign up with photo ID, such as a passport or driver's license, and then verify your face against this.
Unable to proceed further with this method, I then called Equifax and was advised to write to them.
With that, I included a copy of the executor's ID, proof of executor's address, copy of the death certificate, completed Equifax application form in the name of the deceased, and a copy of the will as proof of being an executor.
Three weeks later, I've had a reply and now have the details of the car finance agreements.
The bonus is that they've sent details of the last three that she had dating back to 2008 and we were only expecting one.
