You need the reps where he's throwing people, you need the reps where he's blowing up plays, getting into the backfield, creating a lot of pressures, causing problems.
And one thing that both of these guys can do with their size right away that is feasible and doesn't take a whole lot of training is just move bodies.
When you have that size and strength, that you could create these blitz lanes for Eric Wilson, for Blake Cashman by just having guys be giant and strong.
So can you contribute in those ways that might be a little under the radar?
People are going to look at sack totals and say, well, duh, you know, uh, Caleb.
Banks only has three sacks through his first 10 weeks.
He must be a bust.
But if you maybe watch the tape back, you'll see him.
All right, on that play, he grabbed the offensive guard and moved him.
And while he didn't get the sack, Eric Wilson did.
Right.
There might be a lot of that sort of stuff.
But there's also a chance that these guys are not ready.
And if they're not, then what?
I mean, I think that defensive tackle is a position that takes development, but I don't think it takes perfection right away if you're a
Physical freak.
So the expectation is that both of these guys can make an impact right away.
But to what degree?
Like how because the players they're going to be going against on offensive lines have been around a while.
And this is not the first 325-pound guy that they've ever faced, right?
