And they spoke with this West Coast American accent.
It was just so fascinating to me where these men, these rappers were.
a different way of being entertaining, but also informative.
Like they were teachers in the, in the most obscure sense of what teaching meant.
Right.
They were, they were these men who looked like me.
They were men who were writing about things and about successes that I aspire to attain to when I got to their age.
And they were, they were doing it in a colorful and a creative way.
And they were doing it in an engaging way.

So I,
For me being that 14 and 15-year-old, when I saved up enough money from mowing lawns or whatever to buy myself a new bike, I equated it to the fancy cars that they were rapping about in.
I wanted to buy the clothes, the Timberland boots, the jewelry.
Obviously, I couldn't afford the platinum and gold that they were talking about.
