We could do a swap with the artist, but then we can't give them a Β£200,000 tab at the restaurant.
Like, how's it going to work?
So it's a little bit tricky.
But we had a couple of things.
We have this big wall of posters, which I really love because I think posters are a really interesting art form because they combine...
the art, the typography, the memory of the exhibition.
So we wrote to galleries, museums that we know, saying, look, have you got a poster from this show that we remember, like Wolfgang Tillmann's first show at Chisnell, a bit of the Concord pictures, and other galleries that just do great posters and museums.
We bought some, they sent some.
And then we asked Wolfgang, because we both absolutely love Wolfgang, and he's like, yes, I have the right work for you.
And he was totally right.
It was this picture of some tomatoes and aubergine by a pool, a swimming pool, because the restaurant's Mediterranean.
And really its theme, we've got this amazing terrace, probably got the biggest terrace in London.
And in the summer, it's just fantastic.
And the idea of being on holiday in the Mediterranean was kind of what we wanted people to experience.
You know, that feeling when you sit down, the tomatoes are still warm from, you know, just being picked.
And, you know, it's just that incredible feeling where the sun's on your face, you know.
and even in the winter.
