We wanted to show these guys doing things, being active.

And so when you finally go through all of those soldiers, of which you can spend quite a bit of time on because their stories are all so fascinating,

When you get to the end of that, you get to the spirit of liberty.

The spirit of liberty is a 21st century American icon similar to the Statue of Liberty or the Statue of Freedom on top of our U.S.

Capitol, of which this plaza sits not far from.

And she represents what…

Why these soldiers fought and died to build this nation?

And so she is 23 feet tall.

She holds the Declaration of Independence in one of her hands.

She has a sword to the sky.

And and on her base, there's three reliefs and the three reliefs tell the entire story of the revolution.

There's the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

There's the crossing of the Delaware and there's a surrender at Yorktown.

So you get to experience the entire revolution based off three very famous paintings that we love.

And that's what Freedom Plaza is.

It will be here forever.
