I love Brian Gutierrez and what he has done with Chivas.

I think he's been fantastic for Chivas, even though he's playing in a different position from what he was playing in Major League Soccer.

But he's done great with Guadalajara, and Guadalajara has done fantastic to start the season.

We'll see what happens the rest of the way.

But I do feel like, as we said, with the number nine spot, the goalkeeper...

the middle of the field, I feel it's different for Javier Aguirre.

I think those three, four players are set.

So it will be tougher for Brian Gutierrez to make Javier Aguirre think

how many options he has to be a part of that team.

But we've said it before, right back, it's wide open.

And if Richie Ledesma keeps playing at this level, again, he not only has a shot at making the roster, I think he has a shot at being a starter.

It's alive and well.

Or the deep analysis breakdown of his poor performances.

I mean, he's in good spirits.

He's very positive about his chances of returning in good form, recover from the injury.

It's a shame that it took that long of time to decide on a surgery.

He could be playing right now if that decision would have been made a little sooner.
