Um, yeah, I think it's, it's something to say, you know, everyone wants to, you know, be their best and everyone expects their best from each other.
And I think when you got one goal in mind, it's, you know, you want, you want everyone to be able to pull in the same, the same rope in the same direction.
And, um, you know, that, that being said with the competition, it's, it's good to have.
And, um, you know, I'm looking forward to it and, and I, I'm just focused on myself and,
and doing what I can to help the team.
And I believe, yeah, that'll be in Edmonton.
Yeah, I mean, it's tough.
You get stuck in the business side of the game, and there's a lot of rules and finagling that can go around the rules, and I kind of got caught up in that right from the start of camp, just with hurting my hip flexor, and so it was kind of one of those things that I was just battling uphill the whole season, but I just kept my head on straight, kept working hard, and just kept playing until I'd get another chance, and
He came up and just played some good hockey.
I knew every single opportunity I'd get on the ice, I just had to make the most of it, and that was what I focused on.
Well, I think it'd just be winning the Stanley Cup.
I think that's kind of the main goal.
I think, yeah, you can have your own individual goals, but I'm more focused on doing what I can to help the team win.
I've grown extremely close with...
these guys on the team and um there's just there's there's nothing more like really i want than to see you know guys like newton hopkins and obviously mcdavid and dry said i want to see these guys be able to lift the cup and obviously being a part of that is cool too but you know i just i've grown so close to these guys that that that's that's this most successful part of of the year that it can be and and um i think individually obviously you just you
You kind of have to have that same goal, and that's what you want when you're on a team that can get to the end.
staff and management it just it felt right and i was just you know hoping that we could find something to get done um and then you know i do i guess i do feel like things didn't really work out the way personally um that i wanted them to um at emmett's in there last year but um as a team i think there's some unfinished business as well and i'm looking forward to being a part of it and and just keeping uh keeping on continuing to grow my game to help the team
