Yeah, such important advice.
What about from a lifestyle standpoint when it comes to exercise?
Yeah.
I mean, snacking seems like a pretty low lift.
You were?
That's awesome.
Do you also have a resistance training routine?
How do you strike a balance?
Because I feel like there is a lot of, along with the perfectionist mindset that's sometimes encouraged on social media today in the wellness space, which I think can be actually quite counterproductive to health, there's the phenomena of exercise addiction, orthorexia, and the like.
So how do you balance all of these activities, these behaviors that we know are so beneficial in terms of long-term health outcomes,
with the fact that some people tend to- Overdo.
I also find that many people probably overdo the volume in the gym and aren't fueling themselves properly.
I mean, you kind of alluded to that under eating.
Yeah.
What do you think?
I mean, you've mentioned CGMs, which I've actually worn a CGM for a couple of weeks.
I mean, I found it to be really interesting.
But then one of the counterintuitive data points that emerged from that little experiment was what critics of using CGMs in normal glycemic populations said.
always flag and that's that, you know, otherwise healthy things, healthy foods, healthy activities can cause the dreaded blood sugar spike.
Like training or like even sitting in a sauna or, and that might lead one to believe without proper, you know, education that those activities are somehow harmful because it's causing an elevation of blood sugar.
