would need to make some concessions to trump and to the fcc i mean it's it's pretty stark and striking world that we're living in if that is what needs to happen but clearly we've seen some evidence that that is the case um but but even the suggestion that that he would want that they would want to put uh you know erica kirk in charge uh it's it's it's somewhat unimaginable
You know, there is something I want to say, which is that I really do think that a part of this is, this is really concentrated in television news right now because of the exposure from these corporate bosses who really want to do these mergers and acquisitions to kind of compete with the Netflixes and the Amazons of the world.
I think there's a lot of really great journalism being done by journalists at particularly
companies that are not exposed to this type of stuff.
I mean, I think the New York Times has done a lot of great work.
I think that the Washington Post, for all of the faults that, you know, for all of its concessions that it's made to Trump, you know, there's great stories in there every day, peeling back the layers on things.
There's a lot of great independent journalists out there on YouTube and on Substack that are doing really great work.
And and so I do think that it's I do think, yes, exactly.
But I think that there is.
But I really do think that I think that that gives me that gives me a lot of hope.
I think for these television news networks, I have a little bit I have a little bit less in terms of their independence.
