And and appreciate you bringing this up because a lot of times you have industries that get very involved in regulating that industry.
And they'll tell you, oh, Congressman, we wanna regulate ourselves.
We wanna make sure we put good guardrails in there.
And you might hear that and say, okay, well, that's good.
Then maybe they're on our side.
No, they're they're being smart.
The reason that they wanna be involved in the discussions is because they wanna make it more favorable to themselves.
That's exactly what uh this bill does.
We feel like it's not strong enough.
I mean, the top thing is deciding which regulatory agency is gonna be in charge of the crypto industry and regulating it.
And they want it to be in the softer of the two, which is the CFTC.
Um, and many of us believe that the SEC has to play a larger role in this.
And the reason why it's not because we're Luddites, it's not because we hate technology or innovation, it's because
Because we want to protect consumers and look no further than last year when the president of the United States scammed his own supporters of over six hundred million dollars.
We're so excited about last night's results.
And I think we have a great ticket in the state of Florida.
