I felt like

I felt better when I got to Jeffrey Sharp's bike ranch and all of the guys who had finished around me, they were just as scraped up as I was.

Like we all had cuts in our legs.

So um I wasn't the only one who had some some ride ins with prickly bushes.

But but that section was it was interesting 'cause I I thought it would be easier doing in the daylight and it was actually probably harder because it was hot and I was, you know, tired and

And yeah, I was tired because I skipped sleep on that last night.

So yeah.

So the things that I thought would be hard ended up not being as hard this time around.

And some of the things I maybe didn't expect actually ended up feeling harder.

Um, and my general like mindset was just kind of try to keep moving, don't feel sorry for yourself.

That doesn't help.

Um, just get through it and then you're on to the next challenge and and uh and things will be okay.

Um and yeah, and they were.

I had a couple small bails on day one and day two, and they kind of like shook me a little bit on day one.

in the uh High Rockies trail.

I was going through a creek and somehow launched off my bike and fell into the water.

I was I landed in a way that I didn't hurt myself, my bike wasn't hurt, but um

It yeah, it was a pretty bad it was a pretty bad bail.

Um so it was a reminder to slow down and take things a little more carefully.

I think I might have lowered my tire pressure at that point as well.
