Um, in May versus April was the power production.
He was slugging and slugging.
Well, he was hitting for a higher average, but I think that when you're, when you're seeing the sort of, um, you know, drifts and drops of home runs really start to come around.
Um, he's a special player, but yeah,
I think a lot of hitters are streaky.
I don't mean to be like a Julio apologist, but I think that we tend to underrate how streaky most hitters are.
It just tends to show extreme for him.
And yes, it has been sort of a first half, second half story for him over the last couple of years.
Hopefully, you know, if he could do monthly streaks, right, a one on one off, I think that would go a long way for them.

um i i would imagine if you're a blue jays fan it's a little hard to be too upset with him um given given what he showed last postseason but um yeah they they're they're young hitters they can be streaky hitters and i think that you know the the job of the front office is to construct a lineup where you can bear a cold stretch from one of your stars i think that's been
One of the problems the Mariners have had is they've thought about how to put together a lineup in the last couple of years.
You know, in the early days of his career, it was basically Julio needs to be perfect.
And if he's not, then you're in trouble.
I think that, you know, they've they've had some success in trying to put pieces around him.
Obviously, last year, you know, it was OK for him to be in a little bit of a slump because Cal Raleigh was hitting out of his mind.
I think that you want there to be sort of more depth and durability in the rest of the production from that lineup.
And hopefully they start to see it from their young guys, right?
