But he also describes his, you know, most of his children have had Lyme disease, some with pretty severe effects of Lyme disease.

So, you know, he's very focused on it.

You know, it also ticks like some other RFK Jr.

boxes where there is this community of people who feels like they've been neglected and ignored and, in his words, gaslit, particularly by the federal government.

And those are people who have like chronic Lyme disease or long Lyme disease.

So this is Lyme disease that hasn't been cured by antibiotics and that people have been living with these symptoms for a really long period of time.

And so he's trying to address that population of people

He had a roundtable discussion with a lot of those patients, patient advocates, as well as doctors and people who are trying to work on this space.

And so, you know, he's really speaking to that group of people.

But at the same time, like Lyme disease is a growing problem for, you know, anybody who lives in a tick infested area, which is so many of us.

Well, I mean, so he convened this roundtable and it had doctors, it had lawmakers.

And so you had these folks speaking around the table about different things that you could do.

One of the things that RFK Jr.

is really focused on is improving diagnostics and improving treatment.

What you don't hear him talk about is a vaccine for Lyme disease.

And, you know, he talks about things like we've got to make it safer for kids to go back in the woods.

You know, vaccine could be one way of doing that.

And we actually have a vaccine now that is approaching the regulatory approval process from Pfizer.

You know, they reported phase three results.
