So I live in the City West area, which is kind of an area that's been a hot spot for uh new developments, but there is not enough parking to go along with them, so it's just leading to people.
Packing their cars anywhere they can get it, so on the street.
uh in in the surrounding housing estates.
It's causing a lot of knock on effects I think.
It's causing a lot of aggro in the community between people who are living in the new developments.
And people living in the old developments and old housing estates, there there's a lot of conflict, there's a lot of angry people on all sides.
Uh cars are getting vandalized.
Sometimes you're leaving your car kind of fifteen, twenty minutes away from your house.
You might be leaving it for a couple of days at a time.
You don't know really what you're gonna come back to.
You might come back to it blocked in because somebody else has parked right next to you.
You might come back to a wing mirror smashed off, you might come back to one of your windows.
windows broken or like angry signs left on your car.
Leaving your car is nerve wracking then as well because I'm I'm parking outside somebody's house.
I don't want to be parking outside their house any more than they want me to be parking outside their house.
Um but you're kind of g leaving your car with your head down.
Because you're afraid that somebody is gonna give out ya or approach you.
And you even mentioned that you have been forced to put a sign in your cart.
Yeah, so I have a little sign that just says I'm a healthcare worker, please don't block me in 'cause somebody might block you in and park in front of your car, but they might not leave for work till nine.
But I have to leave at seven.
