What did you want to be when you grew up?
this is going to be fucking cheesy as fuck but I always did want to be a footballer like to be honest which is I love I still play to this day but I know I do hear people when you're asking kids or that like that and they're like oh I want to be a fireman I want to be a footballer but I genuinely wanted to be a footballer like the likes of the Kate McCabe's like I always watch her and I'd love to have what she had do you know what I mean but I just I was too nervous and when I leave my dad or it's something I do regret but
you know.
Did you have the opportunity?
Well, I went to, I went on a football association course.
McCloshy either and as I said to you at the start I wouldn't be a great speller or reader or you know like up here kind of so you had to do like SATs and you had to hit a certain point but I literally just scraped it but I think the coach at the time was like look your ball is good so don't worry about the SATs but I just think he felt a little bit bad of me but then someone got in contact over I don't know it was somewhere over in America
a scholarship.
Now, it was a few quid.
It wasn't a full-paid scholarship or anything like that.
So, you had to pay.
But I couldn't ask my dad at the time.

We didn't really have that type of money.

Not that I have it now, but I'm just saying, like, back then, I just felt... My dad was working two jobs and all.
Like, it was never going to happen.
And then I felt bad in him and...
I just was homesick even before I even went and all that kind of stuff.
