And then she didn't win.

And I was horrified.

I was baffled.

I tried to become involved in the Democratic Party.

What I ended up involved in was this like women's club where you'd like have speakers.

Like you didn't weren't actually making any decisions.

You were hearing people talk about a book.

That was all really frustrating because I was like, who's doing anything?

What are we pushing anything toward?

And a friend who was a folk musician said, you know, we we are starting this DSA chapter.

You should come to a meeting.

And I was like, ugh, the socialists.
