Absolutely.
And what are you going to give all of your information to?
What are you going to put into your email?
What are you going to put in front of your children?
It's totally in the interest of politicians and very powerful corporate leaders today.
to make you feel like you have no choice.
You just have to do what we are putting in front of you.
But at the end of the day, one of the upshots of capitalism is if enough users decide, I don't want this.
I do not value your product.
I value this other product instead.
I want things to go this way rather than that way.
You know, there's power in the purse.
There's power in a democracy to vote, and there's power in capitalism to say, not my money.
And so as long as we have that kind of shred of freedom, then one of the most important things we can do, I think, right now is remind the sort of vast sea of users that they have moral agency.
And that they have a vision of what a good life is for them and for their children and what kind of local community they want to live in and what kind of country they want to live in.
They still have some choice and they've got to figure out what their vision for the good is now that this technology is going to be a part of the rest of our lives.
