Number one, it's interesting you didn't play the clip from Ted Cruz at the RNC where he names Mamdani and Abdul Alsaid, and people in the crowd shout, kill them, shoot them.
They actually shout out death threats.
So that's how dangerous this rhetoric has become from the Republican Party, from people like Ted Cruz and Nancy Mace.
We saw an attack on a mosque in San Diego in May of this year, Piers.
I came on and talked to you about it at the time.
Three Muslim worshipers killed in the middle of California by two neo-Nazis who were spouting the kind of stuff
that Ted Cruz and Nancy Mace spout.
It's very, very dangerous to say stuff like this in this sweeping, bigoted way.
We know it's dangerous.
We know that if you say it about another minority, it's dangerous.
You wouldn't say that Jews should be banned from public office.
And it's interesting that the Congresswoman started her comment saying she's afraid of radical Islam.
Lots of people are afraid of radical Islam.
