Yeah, I don't
This is maybe an you know, an anecdotal observation, but I feel like egos are more prevalent in cycling than they are in running.
That's not to say that they don't
exist in running, but I think when we look at like men versus women in cycling, there seems to be some kind of ego thing there.
But to your point about mo like more women in running, I feel like that
There's probably research to back this up, but it's maybe in part due to how much lower the barrier to entry is to starting to run, because you can go out, you know, for 30 minutes and that gives you a really good workout.
All you need really is a decent pair of shoes and you don't need all of these extra things, whereas in cycling
Especially bike pack racing, the like barrier to entry immediately skyrockets because you think about all the kit you need and you surely you don't need the best stuff, but there is certainly a lot more you need to to participate.

But yeah, it's interesting to see that the evolution of of all of those things and cool that you can
Bring those perspectives from one sport to another one.
Yeah, well we're starting to see, right, that being smart
Often pays more dividends than being the strongest.
It's not always the strongest person who wins.
Certainly that that that matters.
Um but yeah, there's definitely some research and like stuff behind that of how women approach racing versus men.
