It's hot and humid for a lot of us across the country today.
It's going to be stormy across the southeast and into parts of the northern plains and through the Midwest.
But the strongest storms are likely to be across the plains and in through areas of the Ohio River valleys.
Chicago, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, some of those cities that are mentioned where we have two rounds of storms.
One already ongoing across Iowa and into Missouri.
Already reports that there could be some of the things that we have to do.

But our biggest concern going forward through the rest of the today is going to be damaging wind.
There's also the chance for an isolated tornado or two.
Keep in mind there's a very humid air mass that's in place, so any of these stronger storms also have the potential of producing some heavy rain.
In the Midwest and Great Lakes, that's where we have multiple rounds of severe weather expected.
And round one is ongoing across parts of Iowa into Minnesota and Wisconsin.
This will continue to push east across Illinois and Indiana through the early afternoon.
That's round one.
Then around two picks up again this evening, continuing through the nighttime hours.
Chicago, Milwaukee, some of the major cities that are listed in that threat zone.
If you have flight plans out of Midway and O'Hare, you want to pay especially close attention to this forecast because there could be some issues.
You're looking at the damaging wind threat.
That's going to be our primary concern with any of these stronger storms.
But there's also a risk for a tornado or two.
