I feel like carryover is easier for the family when you do that because if you're doing therapy and your sensory gem with the mini trampoline in the slide and the parent doesn't have access to the mini trampoline in the slide, then they may not
feel like they can do this at home and it feels like this big
unachievable thing.
And so if you can show them in their home, you know, I'm doing this because and give them alternatives, you know, the swing is good for this.
And you can also use an office chair to target that sensory need.
Or, you know, you can use you can jump on the couch or you can

jump on the cushions or you can jump on the bed.
Like you're giving them alternatives and it I feel like
It's more approachable for them to be able to understand their child's sensory need and not
make them feel like now they have to go and install a swing in their home, which I know parents that did.
And I think that's wonderful.
But I don't ever want parents to think
they have to go buy all these toys to get the same outcome that I'm getting in therapy.
Absolutely.
Because you're already doing this as a therapist.
We have all their language strategies that you you know you're gonna
one, the plus one, or, you know, you're doing the the model you're modeling and you're telling parents like, you know, I'm using parallel talk or whatever it is that you're doing and sensory is the exact same way.
