It was hard for me because it didn't feel as natural.
And it was harder for me to follow the child's lead when I had to like
set everything up.
Like I it just like showing up and just seeing what they liked was so easy.
And when my doing virtual
It was like you could be there and you could talk to the mom.
But you know, for some kids, you being in the room.
doesn't feel as natural.
Like they don't know you.
They may yeah, especially if you just started with a client.
It, you know, they may take some time to get used to you.
And so they may not act around you the way they would be.
They wouldn't be as comfortable, even though you're in their home.
They're like, there is this strange lady in here and she's touching my stuff.
Like, can she go?
And so I found it was so good for certain populations for me to be able to have a conversation with the mom or the dad and and coach them through what was happening.
And the kid almost not even be aware that I'm there because
you know, by the time we were doing virtual sessions, almost all these kids have seen grandma on FaceTime or they're used to, you know, like a FaceTime call.
Like that wasn't unfamiliar.
And so I've I got to be there without actually having to physically be there and my physical presence like disrupting
