I did nothing and I dreaded going to her house.
I because I felt like I was failing, like she wasn't making a ton of progress.
Um, she didn't really care if I was there.
And I finally told the mom like how sorry I was, like that it's going on a month and I felt like nothing had changed.
And the mom basically told me what you just said.
She was like, you know.
She's I've had so many speech therapists.
She's like six or seven at this point.
We've been in therapy since she was 18 months old.
And you coming and like engaging and playing with her.
I'm gonna get emotional because I'm I'm pregnant and I'm thinking about it.
But she was like, you being here and trying is like all I can ask from you.
Like I can't tell you how much I appreciate you.
coming and showing up for her every week.
Like I don't care.
Like obviously I want her to make progress, but I want her to know that she's loved.
And like you just being here and being a positive, like
person in her life and like being on her team was great.
And then this woman had like a farm and she gave me like a bag full of eggs.
