I feel like I have nothing to write in my note.

I'm just going to lean into it.

So I came to that session fully prepared to, um,

Talk all about Halloween.

I brought Halloween books.

I brought Halloween bingo.

We had Halloween games.

And it was the same.

But I'm like, you know what?

I will try one more time.

And by this fourth session, we're doing it again.

He's still scripting vampires.

Halloween, Nightmare Before Christmas.

I'm trying to connect it to the activity.

And his mom peeks his head in the kitchen because I saw him at his home.

And just asking how we were doing.

And I told her, you know, we're trying to, you know, expand his communication through talking about Halloween because he's really wanted to talk about Halloween lately.

And she looked at me with this confused look on her face and she was like, huh, he hates Halloween.

It makes him really nervous.

And if that moment were a cartoon, that would have been the moment you would see the giant light bulb just like pop over my head because everything suddenly made so much sense.
