It was a challenge.

I thought it went well with some of the the themes around the private equity paper that we our team has been discussing.
So that was a that was a rationale for that theme.
Sure.
It was actually a commentary.
I had looked at a um
Research article that had recently evaluated the prevalence of private equity transactions in the hospice market and noted that there was a pretty substantial uptick in the past decade and really over the course of say around 2015 to 2019.
And so the commentary was around why do we care about that and what are the potential issues?
Well, we have a a long history of looking at some of the evidence around differences in um
Patient populations and care processes and outcome for patients based on hospice ownership, comparing for-profit and nonprofit hospices.
And so that trajectory was an increase kind of from two thousand to say twenty ten.
And now about two-thirds of the market is for profit hospices.
