Yeah, thanks for having me.

So I have been with Cirrus.

It'll be 12 years in August.

Uh previous to working for Cirrus, I worked for the federal government, which is how I come by the role of working with this cybersecurity that we're gonna talk about today.

I do a lot of work with companies in supply chain across the state.

And um I run a program called supplier scouting.

So helping companies match them up to their, you know, needs that they have, whether it's a new supplier or a material shortage, I do a lot of different things and uh I find a lot of joy in helping companies with with the knowledge that I have.

Yes, so it is the CMMC is the cyber maturity mature cybersecurity maturity model certification.

It is a framework that was put in place to ensure that companies were actually doing what they say they were doing when they sign their government contracts or.

Um, they may not have a government contract, they may be a subcontractor, but essentially in those government contracts, there are clauses that state you must have a certain level of compliance, you must uh, you must protect the data that you're receiving from the government when you receive it in your organization.

And so the CMMC was created to ensure it's kind of like that um hammer.

They were trusting that you were doing this, and now they have a hammer to come in and verify that you're doing this.

So the very very similar.

I when I look at CMMC.

And the compliance um and the you know, the regulatory compliance, it's very similar to a lot of those c compliance programs.

And so one of the things that always sticks out to me when I'm start working with a company is if you are ISO compliant or ISO certified or AS ninety one hundred.
