Like anything that is relatively new in education, I'm sure there are some successes and some challenges and some things that need to be improved on.
Because you go around a number of schools, what would you say are the things that stand out to you in those categories of how it's going?
So there are some sounds that people get wrong or have kind of grown up thinking are said a certain way, like ma or something like that instead of mm.
What would you say to parents who might hear some of those words and go, oh, direct and telling and think, I'm not sure, why are we changing teaching methods like that?
Don't we want kids to explore and, I guess...
you know, use their thinking skills or, you know, might not like the words direct and explicit.
What would you say to parents about why
that is and what it means.
