Going back to the diversity of your school and that large percentage of ESOL learners, what did you say?

It took over 50%, yeah.

So what have you seen to be most effective in these learners?

I'm guessing that that feeling of safety at school is, it doesn't change no matter where you're from.

No, absolutely.

But is there anything that you feel really helps a school that is so diverse?

And I guess they just feel like, oh, there's...

You know, that relates to me.

Absolutely.

I have a sense of belonging here.

I think in terms of the way that your brain actually can function when you're able to take on more than one language, it's hugely beneficial.

But also speaking in your home language at home can really benefit actually learning languages.

English or your literacy at school, right?
