And of course, I thought those hearing aids weren't working as usual.

And it didn't feel good to breathe life into those kinds of words.

When Tata finally heard what I said, he replied, oh, of course that's not true.

But that bad feeling stayed with me.

And Tata had lots of bad feelings of his own.

His hearing aids constantly broke.

His eye medicine wouldn't always help his vision correctly.

His legs were swollen and he was in lots of pain and had lots of memories.

And one day he was far from the smiling man I knew.

And he said,

And he was saying that it wasn't worth it to be alive at his age, and he wished that he would just hurry up and die.

And so I call my mom, crying about what my tata has said.
