So just internalize on how close this all is to that point.
Trump understands he is not worried about making any of us who are saying people trying to pay attention to policy comfortable.
He is saying things so that his base shows up.
Fundamental.
And they think at the end of the day, if I keep going back to immigration and I keep talking about that, you are disaster because of all that doesn't really matter what question you ask me.
One of my boys said years ago, whatever you ask me doesn't matter.
My answer is going to be jobs.
Right.
That's pretty much what they decided.
And I think sometimes we ignore the absurdity of him as a man.
He batshit crazy.
We all understand that with strategy.
They fundamentally believe this is a winning strategy.
As amazing as this last six, seven weeks have been, the vice president is pretty much at best been up three to four points in some of these places.
Right.
They think my folks don't show up.
I'm not convinced yours do.
No matter what happens, I'm also laying the groundwork to say y'all stole this thing from us.
And so as wild as it is, this is their approach.
