And it's like forever in your cells and in your heart.
The best thing we can do is really be clear about our intentions.
Not only, like I said, being present in the moment, but stimulating, loving having the opportunity to serve and to radiate and to be engaged.
Hi, I'm Adam Rippon, and this is Intrusive Thoughts, the podcast where I finally say the stuff out loud that's been living rent-free in my head for years.
From dumb decisions to awkward moments, I probably should have kept to myself nothing's off limits.
Yes, I'm talking about the time I lost my phone mid-flight and still haven't truly emotionally recovered from that.

Intrusive Thoughts with Adam Rippon is available now wherever you get your podcasts.
The essence of bipolar disorder is that it's a disorder where one has phases of depressed mood and phases with elevated or expansive or inflated mood.
The difference between bipolar I and bipolar II really goes to how high or manic one goes.
So in bipolar I, one has substantial episodes of mood elevation or mania, whereas in bipolar II, one has relatively milder episodes of mania or mood elevation.
Depression is universal across both phases.
It's a deep, very dark depression, and it's arguably the most lethal of all psychiatric disorders in terms of risk for suicide.
That is correct.
So the average age of onset is around about 17.
And there's often a long delay to diagnosis.
Now, some of this is avoidable through better recognition, but some of it is not avoidable because it tends to begin with things like depression or sometimes even panic attacks, complicated by substance abuse and many other things.
