A book that I can really recommend is a true crime book.

It's called The Arsonist.

by the fabulous Australian non-fiction writer Chloe Hooper.

And it's a hypnotically engaging story of a troubled young man who lights two killer fires in Victoria's La Trobe Valley.

This is on Black Saturday 2009.

And it's also about the police and the fire experts who track him down.

It's a story grounded in the epic story

natural world of Australia.

I'm about halfway through absolutely loving it, a huge and intense book, The Arsonist by Chloe Hooper.

It's published by Hamish Hamilton.
