Yeah.

I was there for the Sydney Morning Herald writing a story about what it was going to be like for the Chiefs when they move in.

And one thing led to another.

Two months later, I was in London with Peter Volandis and Andrew Abdo.

And there were conversations around, would you be interested in working at the NRL?

I'm like, it's probably not for me working at the NRL.

But then they threw up P&G.

I remember I was at the hotel with them in London for the Ashes tour and

And my first instinct was, what do you mean, Pete?

Like, what are you talking about?

You know, I don't, my initial reaction was, I don't want that life for my kids.

Now, when I say that, I don't mean the country's not good enough.

I'm just said, you know, you know, it's like with the world background and families, it's all about family and cousins and grandparents and everyone's together and aunties and uncles.

I didn't want my kids not to grow up around that, but it wasn't until I stopped and actually thought about what this opportunity would do for my children and my family that

in terms of such an incredible, humbling experience for them.

Um, and being able to do something that I always dreamt of doing, but never thought it was realistic.

Like who else gets to build their own footy club from the ground up, you know?

And I've loved every minute of it.

And when, when they put it on the table, initial reaction was, no, no, I can't.

But my wife actually said to me like,
