So, yeah, we're just kind of still in shock, I suppose, and trying to process what happened.

It is, like, I mean, it was just, you just weren't expecting it, and it's so surreal, really, because, you know, it happens within such, we were there, it was just like every year that we'd been there, meeting everybody, you know, looking forward to going to the pool and the entertainment that night, and

Next thing, within the blink of an eye, it just, it was over, like, you know.

So we were in emergency accommodation that night.

And we were, you know, at this stage now, having been on the beach for three hours, you know, we were all dehydrated.

Some of us were getting sunburned.

The wind was really bad.

So we were being blasted by sand as well, you know, and we had a lot of young kids.

But we weren't alone.

There was lots of other families that were in the same position as us.

So it was pretty frightening.

We were put into a kind of a hostel.

So it was quite uncomfortable, to be honest with you, you know, because it was fairly hot that night.

But we just, I suppose we were, you know, it had just been such a surreal experience.

We were trying to process it all.

And we were up, my family were up again at half five the following morning to get a transfer.

to the airport.

I'm glad of it.

We were, we were, we were happy to be, to be going at that stage.

So, which is a shame.
