And in a way, I think that's more impressive because you tend to think the most appearances is kind of, you know,
you know, veteran right back who just is always there.
So for it to be a player who, you know, played so many minutes as a teenager and has got a bit of a kicking over the years from defenders, the fact that he's still going and to have played more games than Lothar Matthäus and all those other names, OK with a bit of an expanded tournament, you know, these days there are more matches to play.
But I think that appearance record shouldn't be underestimated.
It's quite remarkable.
I'm unsure.
I really like watching them play.
I think they play really good, slick, one-touch football.
I think the approach they got with the wingers actually almost like number 10s is quite fun.
The fullbacks push very high.
They play a lot of passes and good combinations in central positions.
And I think that actually helped against Austria, who I think are quite a limited side, not much creativity or imagination.
But they do counter-press very well.
They do get men around the ball.
Argentina, really good at just kind of buzzing past that.
and then switching the ball wide to the opposite flank where there's lots of space, the concern would be
probably more so than four years ago, they do just seem very dependent on Messi.
I mean, they've scored five goals.
He's got all of them.
You probably can't win a World Cup in this day and age depending on one player that much.
